Desired Skills and Experience
 
Position Description
  • 7+ years software development experience designing and building systems across multiple technologies
  • Solid JEE experience
  • Solid Microsoft .NET programming experience using ASP.NET
  • Very knowledgeable in design patterns
  • Solid experience in developing and integrating  SOAP Web Services
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior developers
  • Must be able to master new technologies quickly through self-study
  • Must be very proficient in designing application architectures and database schemas
  • Solid SQL experience using MySQL, Oracle, or SQLServer 2000
  • Experience using Agile development methodologies, especially Scrum
  •  
  • Work closely with a small team to develop software in an agile fashion
  • Design, implement, test, and field new software products
  • Lead and mentor less experienced team members
  • Work with customers and outside partners to train and support developed products
  • Design, implement, document, test and support products for specific business needs with attention to security and scalability
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university in computer science or information technology
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

    Duties
     
    Skills
  • 3+ years Business Analyst or Requirements management experience
  • Gather requirements using SME and Stakeholder interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys and site visits
  • Generate business process descriptions, process flows, use cases and scenarios
  • Analyze business processes, task and workflows.
  • Consolidate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose into specific requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and development team to distill functional requirements into Business Rules, Process Flows and UI Designs
  • Work with SME to groom the product backlog in preparation for sprint planning.
  • Drive sprint and release planning by prioritizing the product backlog
  • Act as a liaison between development teams
  •
